Node Card Quickstart Overview

This page introduces the Node Card and provides a guided path through each Quickstart. Each Quickstart is short, focused, and designed to be completed in order.

These steps take you from first power-up → CAN network → I/O validation.

Quickstart Path

1. Node Card Startup Quickstart

Power the card, install firmware on the ESP32, and confirm the basic startup messages. This is the first Quickstart every user must complete. Open Startup Quickstart

2. Node Card CAN Quickstart

Connect the Node Card to a CAN-enabled computer and verify CAN communications. Required before CDI configuration or I/O testing. Open CAN Quickstart

3. Node Card I/O Quickstart

Test the Node Card’s I/O connector using the Card Output Monitor Board. This confirms the card can drive output lines after configuration. Open I/O Quickstart

4. Node Card Basics Quickstart (Legacy Combined Version)

This older Quickstart combines startup, CAN, and I/O sections into one guide. It is kept only for reference; new users should follow the three Quickstarts above. Open Basics Quickstart
